Meaning, mediation, and ways of seeing.

My research began with translation, narrative, and literature: forms of expression in which words may appear equivalent while meaning shifts through less visible attributes such as emotional intensity, density, cultural register, voice, and rhythm.

NFAF emerged as a framework for observing and measuring some of those changes. That work now sits within a broader inquiry into AI mediation and the ways artificial intelligence transforms human expression at scale.

Alongside this work, JAS is my visual practice: an exploration of pigment, color, observation, and how material choices shape what an image communicates.
